After viewing the web site made by Gregg Myroth I was shocked to see he is selling fake Van Briggle pottery. His pottery are all new reproductions and he is asking high prices in the thousands for these fakes. My name is Tommy Tipping and I have been studying Van Briggles work for 40 years and although the forms are correct the glazes are definitely new glazes made to look old. Please purchase your pottery at a reputable art dealer and not from a high tech con man like Gregg Myroth. Unfortunately internet laws allow scrupulous dealers like Gregg Myroth to get away with this type of thievery. The Gregg Myroth site is shown below.
